    Stunning! I very nearly bought one of these beauties at Wisley the other day but i refrained- bought too much else! I was going to try and grow them from seed for next year. It's a gorgeous colour  :)

    Yes Love the   colour ,I bought a lot at chatsworth,thought the plant creche was a brilliant idea !

    I bought two last year and one has collapsed completely. I wonder if Vine weevils have nibbled away the roots as they do with Huechera. My soil is on the acid side.

    The plants are very prickly beware of small children.

    They're very easy from seed. Even I can manage them .

    The plants are very prickly beware of small children.

    This is why i didn't buy one, my little girl loves to stick her little hands amongst the plants in oyr garden to vet to her "friends" (the bugs :#) so I thought i'd better not seeing as she already has to deal with roses everywhere :s:D
