It's also important to apply when the ground is damp. It's hopeless if the ground is dry. none of these products will work well if that's the case. It's also easy to think - 'well if that amount does that, more must be better'. No - it really isn't. I've used these products for as long as I've had grass without any issue. I measure the space with canes, and use a plastic container which I put a mark on at the level of the correct amount. Last year, I was a bit haphazard with it, and I paid the price - some small areas which took all year to recover. My fault, not the product - I was careless.

well its nearly been 2 weeks since I applied 4 in 1 evergreen.. I have to say since buying a sprinkler and a good raking my lawn is starting to come back to life though there is still some brown patches but can see new grass peeping through... think its just my water bill that's going to suffer now instead !!
