Animal Hole identification

Hello first post here and I promise I will post some more positive ones.

I found this hole last night which is about 5 cm diameter right by a climbing rose which I planted last year.  The garden is in rural location with fields behind.

Behind the hole is a wall so no where the hole can go but down.

I live in the West midlands

Looks like my hole. Suspect voles. How deep is it?

Vole most likely I would think, was sat watching one running in and out of a hole about the same size earlier this evening
