Say what you like...if I see willow herb in someone's immaculate little manicured flowerbed...it's coming out! If I don't know what it is, if there is a clump of it, if it has a pretty flower or attractive foliage or looks as if it's there on purpose I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise... Pfsht! Out! When my garden is 'on the map' you're welcome to pull all the willowherb you like. Just don't touch the red campion, toadflax, hawkweed, bluebells, wild primula, lady's smock, ragged robin, self heal..........and good luck with the thistles, nettles and dandelions!
Maybe the willow herb was purposely planted .....to attract the Elephant Hawk carerpiller! I must admit some weeds I do leave (a little )just for the insects. !
Don't criticise other people's children, write in other people's dust, run off with their husbands or weed their gardens ... if you haven't got enough to do volunteer at your local hospital or join the local pub darts team.

Ooo I dead headed some flowers whilst waiting for OH to pick me up outside the GC ! It was a raised bed about waist high belonging to them,I never gave it a thought! Naughty!
