Help with ID please - it's not what I thought

FireFire Posts: 19,096
Hi, any ideas on this please? I originally thought it was going to be a verbena bon. but it is clearly not that. It has a square stem. Hairy leaves and stem which have no aroma when crushed. No flowers or buds as yet. It's about 2ft now, but looks like it will keep going. It also looks intentionally planted. Maybe.

Thanks

Thanks. I did wonder, but mine seems like a much chunkier plant, than any I've seen. It's growing almost like a salvia. I think it may have been given to me as a seedling in the autumn. I guess, as ever, when it flowers, it will be straight forward to ID.
