Tomato?

Hello fellow forkers.  Have a question for you. Bought a set of three Black Russian tomato plants two weeks ago. Planted and have been happily growing on, but one plant looks different. Not sure if I've been sold a pup!

Just looked and the leaves are not round enough. I just hope I'm not growing a weed. Lol

It looks like a tomato to me, but not the same type as the one on the right, see what type of tomatoes it sets :)

It's the lack of lobes on the leaves that are throwing me.

Some varieties of tomatoes are 'potato leaf' types.. like Brandywine.

Well it's growing so will have to wait and see what fruits it produces. Will watch with interest. Thanks for the input.

There is also more than one variety sold as 'Black Russian' and I'm sure I've grown a potato-leaved 'Black Russian' type before.

It is just funny to have both leaf types in one pot. Mind you last year bought a couple of black tomato only to have yellows fruits instead.
