Neighbors mystery shrub ID please

behind it was a Forysthia, complimenting it quite well in form and colour a month later.

    Thanks both, you do provide a lot of help for me here, much appreciated.  

    If i'm not mistaken, i might have a rooted cutting from this Bodantense, looks like a really nice shrub to have!   ( in fairness, it does slightly overhang our road/drive).

    One of my favourites ... if you prune yours carefully when it's bigger, it'll look even more attractive than your neighbours ... and the scent on a sunny winter's day is delicious.
