Hi everybody. I need a help. I would like to seed a new lawn and my question is: Can I kill a old grass with 20% vinegar? Will it affect the soil? My plan is to spray vinegar over the old grass in entire garden then when everything die turning the soil - level the garden (I have couple of small steps) and seed a new grass. Will it works?

No. It will certainly kill a lot of beneficial bugs and micro-organisms, though. You could, if you really wanted to, use a herbicide to kill all the plants, but if you are intending to turn the soil anyway, why not take off the old grass in turves and stack it out of the way to compost down?
