Bedding plant

hi can anyone help I am trying to find a bedding plant that I got last year but not sure of the correct name it is something like Tangies they have tiny spiky leaves with lots of flowers you can get orange or yellow & they have a wonderful smell they flower all summer & are around 8" tall.

    Are they these Little Bee? Tagettes, I’ve never noticed the smell😊
    very easy to grow from seed.  These were called Red, 

    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Would it be Tagetes tenuifolia (lemon marigold)?

    Thanks AnniD & Dimwit that's what they are the Lemon smell lovely sorry Lyn the flower in your picture is not the same but the leaves are maybe that's why you don't notice the smell they have the same name tho??? so thanks again all at least I can go out looking for them now I know the name. B)B)

    Tagetes come in a variety of shades of amber, orange and yellow ... also in varied heights, so check the labels as to how high the ones you buy will grow  :)

    I have the little red ones. They look great in a container.

    Thanks everyone for advice I am on my way to garden center to buy some I was able to ring first to check they had some so thanks again for correct name exited,com
