Cabbage whites

Are these always considered bad and what do you guys do about them? Are they food for anything?

I suddenly found an infestation of them on my horseradish.

    Catapillars, there have been plenty of the butterflies around but i didnt notice the eggs. I dont have any cabbages but they seem to like the large horseradish leaves just the same.
