Scabious and Echinops issues

Think my Echinops has got severe case of leaf miner. Can somebody confirm and also any thing I can do to resolve. I don't particularly like use chemicals. Also, my Scabious appears to have an issue with quite a few leaves going crispy brown. Any ideas. No other plants around the Scabious appear to be affected.

If you can track the leaf miner to the end of its burrow, you will see the slight bulge where it is currently hiding.
Just take that bit between finger and thumb and squeeze hard!
Works best if you can catch them in the early stages.

I have had leaf miner in the past and on my plants this year. They spoil the look but seldom cause any problems to the plants.
