Identifying plant

can anybody please help me identify this plant? We thought it was an olive, but the flowers have thrown us 🙄 any ideas please?

    That’s a convolvulus.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Convolvulus cneorum is most likely. A lovely silver leafed shrub (not invasive and not that easy to keep either).

    Me neither, tried with them but they don’t like my garden, maybe it should the acid soil or the cold winds.
