No grit

Hiya,

I have run out of grit and could really do with some - typical! Does vermiculite or perlite help in any way in that dept? OR corn based cat litter?

    Of the three things you have mentioned, perlite would probably be the best replacement. Cat litter is a definite no as it is designed to absorb liquids and would not help make your compost free draining.
