  It could also be that the seeds came from a plant which had been pollinated by a bee which had also visited one of the purple cauliflower family like this one http://www.simplyseed.co.uk/cauliflower-seeds/graffiti-f1.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMImK7s_-3I2wIV67XtCh2KUQuIEAQYASABEgID7fD_BwE
  
  It won't affect the cooking or flavour ... I'd get on and harvest that one, it looks as if it's just getting past its best ... cauliflower cheese for lunch
