Snip round the edges of the lawn because you've read somewhere that it makes the garden look gardened

What?  No relaxing with a glass of wine/beverage of choice and admiring the fruits of all our hard work?

Finish clearing up the hedge clippings, sort them into two bags, woody bits for the council green bag, leafy bits to shred and compost.

I'm about to take a week off just to get on top of garden jobs. An hour just isn't going to cut it. :'(
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

If I've only got an hour. I'd lie on the sunbed with a cuppa by my side.

I could get quite a lot done in an hour [not good  at sitting...] but I'dprobably spend about 55 minutes debating what needed doing most  :cold_sweat:
Potter mainly [or faff around as I call it] potting on little things, and trying to remember which shrub I've put some little cutting or small plant under to keep it protected from weather etc.
Tieing in sweet pea stems would certainly be one, tidy my own green wall [therapeutic] and currently - seeking out lily beetle larvae and dispatching them. Very satisfying  :)

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Deadhead the roses (5 minutes)
Think about washing out all those used pots and storing them tidily away, then put it off again (5 seconds)
    Relax (the rest)
