So number 1 is currently growing out of the woodland next to my garden and displaying pea pods :)

Number 2 is a wildflower growing up on the grass next to the cricket pitch.

    I wonder if 2 is actually Weld or Dyers Weed, a wild flower closely related to Mignonette.  Its roots used to be used for a bright yellow dye.  Weld is Reseda luteola; mignonette, which has fatter flower stems, is Reseda odorata.
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    @Asarum

    Thanks for the info.  Pretty chuffed to find I have a laburnum sneaking into my garden.

    I thought the Reseda looks really nice.  Amazing to see it as a wild flower.
