Hi

Would anyone be able to tell me if this is a ornamental thistle or just a weed, the leaves look sharp but you can touch them  but the flower bud is sharp to the touch. Thanks in advance.

    It is Acanthus spinossus.  Less invasive than A. molis. Lovely architectural plants.
