The second they look slightly bedraggled, although they are trailing so I presume would be quite normal. ? Ps. I potted them on a couple of days ago from mail order packaging so will probably replant in a couple of days to final large pot.

If you've only potted them on a couple of days ago, they won't be ready to pot on again into their final pot in another couple of days. They should only be potted on gradually - once the roots are filling the current pot well. If they're eventually going into a large pot [do you mean several into a 30cm diameter pot or similar?] they need to have a good root system or they'll be 'lost' in a big pot of compost.
They look a bit over potted to me, and they also look very wet, hence the bedraggled stems and foliage. Pelargoniums are better on the dry side - in a  well drained, gritty medium.  I take it you have plenty of holes in the bottom of those tins too? They can rot off very quickly.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

By far and away the best plants for a shady balcony are Busy Lizzies (Impatiens). They will flower with as little as one hour of sun a day.

    Hi Fire,

Yes I'm thinking the same so I will try that. Sometimes I wish Monty Don would come and live with me for a week! Lol. Thank you  :)

    Hi FG,

Thanks for response I hear what your saying about not been ready to pot on and I thought that as soon as I had sent post lol. Re looking wet I have gently watered them twice since I've had them as I know they don't like to be wet so it puzzles me why the leaves are like that And yes I have got busy lizzies that are looking great right now thanks Ingle, also I've sown some nasturtiums that I'm hoping will grow through my honey suckle this year
