Hydrangea macrophylla leaf colour

Ive become somewhat obsessed with hydrangeas, with circa 20 different young varieties now taking up space in the garden.  There’s a young one that’s troublesome however, with its leaves starting to go lime coloured. I have flower colourant, and lime, would either of these help?  This is a ‘Together’ variant.

any advice appreciated!

    When foliage goes yellow it usually indicate chlorosis from lack of iron and/or magnesium, usually associated with hard water and/or lime or chalk in the soil.  Give it some liquid sequestered iron at the roots and a foliar spray of Epsom salts - 15mg diluted in 5 litres of water.   Try and water it with rain water rather than tap.

    Thanks. It went in the ground with ericacious compost, and was initially watered with rain water. Treated the same as the rest basically. I’ll feed as suggested and hopefully it works! This is the 2nd ‘Together’ I’ve had issues with, with the others all being fine.

    I hope it works.  Must admit I now only grow the paniculata types which don't care about alkalinity and flower on new season's wood.   In my last garden the other types would all be killed above ground by hard winters so  never had flowers.  This garden is much milder and I have inherited 2 large macrophylla types but have no idea what they are - one red and one blue-ish.
