    Well, here it is. 10 kgs of soil set in 25kgs of sand (yes, a whole bag!) It drains very well, and I'm optimistic that the honeysuckle will make more of an effort this time round. Note low res photo, ahem!

    I have a jasmine in a similar position. It loves it, been in the same pot for 5 years. And I'm a fairly neglectful gardener. It gets dirty water when I clean the pond but no fertiliser otherwise.
    It's now trying to get in the bedroom window so once it's flowered it's going to be hacked right back this year.
