    I stuck some gaura bits in water last week and they're beginning to root already.
    Penstemon will root in water too. 
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    I think rose rootstocks are used by breeders so they can multiply the stock up rapidly. I never have any problems with roses on their own roots. If you want fancy standards, you will need to use a rootstock.

    Sorry my update was not asking if it was a good idea, I was asking how to protect them from vandalisation as I’ve lost them all :)

    Netting Tin pot or do you mean a person pinching them. Might try the potato then Fidget Bones.😁
