Easily distracted!

I went out this morning at 7.30 in my PJs,saw that one of my cats had knocked a cutting off the wall,so swept it up.Next few minutes I'm down the garden, dead heading, pinching out, pulling weeds!!
Making coffee completely forgotten! Also forgot the neighbours!😁
Please say I'm not the only one that does this???😁

No, definitely not the only one,  this time of the year mind mind is on one thing only, I have lists that I never get round to ticking off as I get distracted.
We didn’t get our dinner till gone 8pm last night. Completely carried away and still nothing off the list!

I get a lot of weeding and dead heading done while inappropriately dressed (and often while holding a mug of tea in the other hand)

Every day! I love it! My mum used to do the same, I can see her now, bed hair akimbo, tea in one hand and deadheads in the other and in her dressing gown pockets lol!

The trick is to put the kettle on and make a brew before you set foot out the door Cazgo. Then you take it out with you ☕😉.

Now we're pretty rural but I think I can one up you here, I get out of bed and I am not of the PJ wearing generation :p I open the door to let the dogs out.. and perhaps the pots look a bit dry, and then of course the chickens are calling for their dinner, and maybe I better check the greenhouse, and oh my I'd better put some sunscreen on because.. nothing else is on!
  • I suggest you watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for inspiration on how to build an automatic breakfast maker and a model railway to deliver your tea to the end of the garden.

This is one of the perils of working from home. I take a break to make a cup of tea and just go to check the garden is ok while it cools and find myself returning to a lukewarm tea and wondering how it got so cold in just a few minutes :#

A dog like Grommit would be handy, wakes you up, drops you in your trousers makes tea and toast, then you’re all set for the day.
