Mystery Plant

My friend has this mystery plant growing in their garden and needs some help in identifying it please! It's the one dead centre - sorry - it blends in! There was suggestion that maybe it was a poppy, the leaves look similar. If you're able to assist please let me know.

could be Mallow,
not poppy

In the sticks near Peterborough
