What is this plant....

I am wondering if anyone can tell me what this plant is. It self seeded/appeared last year and I initially thought it was a weed. I left it to see what would happen and it has started flowering over the last few weeks. During the day the flowers look dead but they then become very bright and beautiful at dusk.
