Holly help?

My well-established holly tree is suddenly losing its leaves. Can someone help me identify the problem? Here's an example of some of the leaves.

The stems seem unaffected and the trunk undamaged.

    Evergreens do drop leaves, can we see a photo of the tree/bush

    Absolutely! Here you go. First two show leaves on branches. Whole tree canopy is in the bottom picture.

    I think that's OK. All evergreens have a leaf drop and some look sick til the old ones are all off

    Looks pretty good to me too  :)

    I think if it's been very hot and/or dry,  you may find they drop a little more - just to make life easier  for themselves. Less top growth for them to keep hydrated. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
