White spots on cucumber leaves
in Fruit & veg
Hey, looking at my cucumber plants this morn i noticed a few of the plants have the white spots on them (see pic). I'm not totally sure what it is, powdery mildew? Last year i had powdery mildew on some of my cucumbers but it was right near the end of the season so it didn't really effect anything. The variety i have (f1 byblos) are supposed to have a good resistance to the dreaded mildew. Should i be worried and what would be the best course of action here? Seems kind of early to get these problems but then we have had some very humid/tropical weather the last couple weeks in the south west uk.

If the upper part of the plant look good and it's growing strongly I reckon it's fine

Just noticed that the lower leaves on mine are worse than yours...
The rest of the plant is growing strongly and it's only the bottom 2 pairs of leaves that are affected and loads of tiny cue's apearing.
Fingers crossed we both get a great harvest!
