Thank you Cagzo,  I never stop giving thanks to be living here. I must be one of the most blessed people.  I hope the OP has some inspiration to go for it.
However it has it drawbacks, it rains a lot, and can be very windy.

    Fab pictures, as always Lyn.
It is a great place, but you have enhanced it.

Joyce.  I really couldn’t say, I haven’t ever lost any but I do so many cuttings and seeds, I don’t know which is which. I planted out some blue ones a few weeks ago, I hope they stay.
Philip, your garden looks similar to mine, all colours in together, I call it an Explosion in a paint factory, I don’t think anything clashes in a cottage garden theme.
Yesterday I sowed white, light blue and dark blue delphinium seeds for next years planting, also blue lupins and a red lychnis.

  • @Lyn,..i like that description,..'an explosion in a paint factory  :)',..about mine,.. i say to visitors,..'Like looking through a Kaleidoscope'.

Delphiniums white,..light blue,..and dark blue will be a beautiful combination,..perhaps the latter 'Bluebird'.

I don’t know Philip, they were seeds from previous plants, unlike Foxgloves they come true.

  • @Lyn,..smiling here to myself about you putting down seeds for next years Delphinium planting,..ah that's gardening at its best.

I have collected all the seeds from my Delphiniums but never sowed them,..i have started taking cuttings,.. after blooming i cut back the plants then take cuttings from the new growth,..about 75% root.

I love seed sowing Philip, those won’t even flower next year, I will probably pick off those flowers to build the plant for the following year. Perenial sowing is about thinking two years ahead,  I just love it😀😘
