Oriental poppies - yes or no?

  I have a few oriental poppies - Patty's Plum, the common orange one self seeded into my paving, a bright cardinal red one and a pale pinkish one. The slugs in my garden totally ignore them.

  Ignored by slugs in my garden also........pulled up a lot after they flowered last year, the were smothering everything else.
