It's an ill wind ....

I felt a bit bad about cutting both my weedy lawns in the same week, because of depriving the insects of the wild flowers.  Now I've come in, the turf is busy with birds digging out grubs and worms, which they couldn't have reached when the grass was long.  Some of the starlings are fledglings, and the parents are showing them what to do.
