    We lay on our tums to gaze into our little pond ... we saw a male and female common newt, with the female laying eggs on the Brooklime leaves ... we also so a dragonfly nymph ... fearsome looking beast  :)

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I like your bridge jellyfire, did you make it? is it sleepers?

    Thanks @a1154, yep it’s just 4 sleepers bolted to a piece of 4x4 at each end, then sat on some bricks. It usually comes with 2 children hanging over the edge with their heads an inch from the water. (Well ok,2 children and 2 adults 😉)
