Colour in front of house

We live on a fairly busy main road, yet I feel it is important to have some colour in it. We struggle to park anywhere now and a lot of properties have paved over front gardens. We have similar, but also have a small wall, with room for some shrubs and of course hanging baskets. And whilst tending to my outside front garden, people walk pass smiling, saying hello and taking the time to comment. Having a nice front garden is as important as a back garden, as it is seen so much more.

and we are so fortunate to have the tranquility of less traffic noise out the back.

Such lovely flowers and a beautiful back garden. I like the way you have what appears to be an archway cut into the hedge on the right, at the back, near some seating.. it looks as though it leads off into a mysterious space. I like that...
