Mini roses- yellowing/browning of leaves

Hi,

I have had this mini rose plant for two years now, but it recently developed yellowing/browning of old and new leaves. Does anybody know what is causing this?

Probably a magnesium deficiency.   Incidentally.. roses are not house plants, it should be outside not indoors... they need sunshine and open air, not windowsills in kitchens... even if it's one you bought in a supermarket..

I'd agree that your rose would be far healthier if it were outside - is that a possibility?
There may be some sort of deficiency - do you feed it at all? has it had a change of compost? could it be getting root bound?
The first thought that sprang to mind when I saw the leaves was spider mites - they cause little dots on leaves which then fall off, but you'd need a magnifying glass to see them on the underside of the leaves. They only thrive in dry conditions, so quite likely they're not the problem.
Alternatively, it may just be that your rose is shedding just a few leaves - mine in the garden do.
