Plant ID please

We've allowed this to grow, but can't remember how it got there... Any idea what it is?

I don't think it's flowered yet if that helps (although our garden is behind - the Geranium Rozanne at the bottom of the picture only got its first flower yesterday).

    Looks like Choisya x dewitteana 'Aztec Pearl' ; a Mexican white flowering shrub .

    (The snail on the right obviously likes it)!!!

    Hostafan and Paul are spot on with the ID. If you haven't looked it up yet be aware that it will get very big. It also grows relatively quickly. I have one in my garden that I grew from a 10cm cutting and in about 3 years it's grown into a substantial bush, about 1.5M deep x 2M wide x 1.3M high.

    The RHS website says the maximum height and spread is 1.5 - 2.5M over 10 - 20 years. It's also very beautiful and scented. It's known as the Mexican orange and has a mass of white flowers from April/May through till June/July.

    Hi Garden noob. Choisya is actually the Mexican Orange and shouldn't be confused with the Philadelphus which is the Mock Orange

    You lot are incredible. Thank you so much.

    I think this must have been a cutting from my MIL but by the sounds of things we're going to need to give it a new home soon!

    If we put it in full shade, is it likely to stunt its growth but workout killing it?

    Full sun or dappled shade , it won't really mind .
