    I have about 27 roses. Am I a collector?
The fact I've counted them must mean something.

I'm going to put two more red climbers in the autumn. :/

This past Friday's GQT says 12-15 plant types per garden space.  They were at Chelsea, so I imagine it is in reference to that 'style'.

    What's a plant 'type' anyway?

I can understand it for a small border, but if you have a large garden, you'd want more than 7 wouldn't you?

One small border of mine I have for example, roses, astrantia, verbascum, penstemon, nepeta, daylily.. plus an annual, so that's 7, and the most I could do in this area..

..where did I get 7 from?.. oh well..
