Weeds in top soil

I have had my garden levelled and top soil added but as haven't turfed the lawn yet it is now covered in little weeds, what should do?.

    If they are only seedlings then getting the turf down asap will smother them.

    If you are nor ready for turfing, run a hoe over it before they get beyond the two leaf stage.

    They are actually about 1-2 inches especially with all the rain we’ve had
