Suggestions for tall wavy daisy type flower

AlxNicAlxNic Posts: 259
Good morning - I saw this pic from the Wellness Garden RHS Chelsea. Most of my daisy plants are clump forming. Is there something like this? I think chamomile was used in the garden.
Thank for any suggestions

You could use annual white cornflowers.  Cornflower "snowman" from Mr Fothergills.

Thanks Fidget, I have the regular blue ones but I'll look for the white.

I have been searching for chamomile and found  Anthemis arvensis it grows 30cm - what do you think?

You could use that. It is an annual so unlikely to form clumps. It is more of a daisy than the cornflower.

Shanta daisies grow as tall single flowers, depending in the variety, up to a metre tall. Not sure how busy they get - the ones in your pic might get bushy eventually, perhaps the ones in the pic would get bushy eventually, but Shasters do stand quite tall of the clump, I think.

    Excuse the repetition!

The picture looks like ox eye daisies to me. They couldn't be easier to grow.

Thanks, everyone . The photo is of the RHS Chelsea Wellness garden planting and a 'moment in time'. I think I will try a chamomile and an ox eye 'for size'. Watching Chelsea inspires me to apply a bit of 'design' to my garden instead of the haphazard way I usually do it. Very definitely 'cottage' but lovely to sit in. Hope you are doing some of that on this lovely sunny Bank Holiday
