Hostas

I have inherited a beautiful Hosta in the garden. It was munched on heavily by slugs last year but I read that slugs don't like used coffee grounds. Lucky for me, local supermarket cafe bag theirs up for the taking. So.....round my Hosta the coffee grounds have gone, with a beer trap either side and this seems to have worked so far. There are a couple of bites on it but that was prior to the beer & coffee
