  • 1 Is red valerian not valerian officinalis it's lovely but seeds everywhere. Great for spots where nothing else will grow. Good for insects
    2. Didn't recognise this but if it is Chinese Lanterns and you have cats beware they are highly toxic.
    3. Is it a grape vine?
    4. Sow thistle weed
    5. Apart from the grass the pink flowers are a Hardy geranium 
    6.Hellebore leaves will flower in spring

    The pink flowers in pic 4 look like Geranium 'dreamland'.

    Agree with Marran and no 3 is indeed hollyhock.
