Bulbs

My next door neighbour kindly gave a carrier bag full of bulbs she has dug up as she is laying down a new lawn.  I have no idea what the bulbs are and neither does she.  Firstly, can I pot them now or is it too early 
Secondly, there are some very tiny bulbs about the size of a pea.  Can anyone recognise what they might be.

    They could be bluebells but it is a bit early for them to be dried out.

    Whatever they are - and it's pretty hard to tell - get them into pots of soil/compost [ try and keep the same sizes together] water them, label them as 'mystery bulbs' or similar,  and tuck them away for now. Once they come into flower, you can label them and then plant where you want them. 

    The small ones could be an allium, but don't quote me on that!
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    They could also be snowdrops.
