RIP acer
I re-potted an acer I was given in ericaceous compost. It needed some TLC I was told.
Obviously past the point of no return, it has died.
My question is, can I grown ordinary summer bedding plants in this ericaceous compost?

Assuming it's a pot you have, you could always remove some, and replace with some garden soil or standard compost. It'll largely depend what plants you want to put in though.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I was just thinking of growing something temporary before I get another Acer
