Echinops weird growth

RoddersUKRoddersUK Posts: 537
Hello, one of my echinops has curled up leaves. I've had this on fuchsia's before and it was a bug.

Is this the same thing and can it be cured, or do I have to cut it off?

By the time it’s grown to it’s full potential you won’t notice a few manky leaves. I’ve been trying for almost three years now to get rid of them, they pop up everywhere and the roots go down so deep we get them out with a pick axe.

@Lyn are you saying you've been trying to get rid of echinops? Oh no, I love them, and planted some last year... was so glad when they re emerged this year!

But after about 6 years and they’ve taken over half the border, you may say the same. I have left a few but I’m still trying to get out the seedlings every year.
