Unhappy Choisya White Dazzler?

Evening everyone,

We recently bought a Choisya White Dazzler and I’m bit concerned as it doesn’t look happy. Can anyone give me advice please?

Thanks!

Hi, when did you plant it up?
  • Hey it was 2 weeks ago. We have been watering regularly etc because of the extra hot weather.

Give it some time to settle in. I would personally be tempted to take the flowers off so that the plant can put its energy into rooting. But not everyone would agree. Why are you feeling it's unhappy?
  • Ahh that’s interesting I think I will as the flowers have started to die off and some new buds have appeared. Just because the leaves have gone from green to yellow at the bottom.

Do you know what variety it is?
  • It’s called a Choisya White Dazzler 😃

Your C. 'White Dazzler' looks quite O.K. to me. You say you planted it 2 weeks ago, which means it was at the peak of its flowering season. Not a good idea! Anyway don't worry, it should be fine. I've got one in my garden and it does have a dazzling flowering.
  • Oh my bad 😕 That may explain why the flowers and leaves look abit sad haha! Thanks very much for your reassurance.
