So you don't want to resubscribe to my newletter then? :'(

I know data protection is important but my email inbox is full of this rubbish.

There are masses of emails today (the day before the deadline!) imploring me to be kind to them and tick yes, yes, yes.  And I am thinking oh goody, no, no, no - I might actually be able to get rid of all the junk email at last. I'm not holding my breath though.

If you get the pop up box on this site you have to click on ‘more actions’ (I think that’s what it says) . If you scroll down you will see that all :third party ‘ are ticked as active, you need to click on them so it says Inactive. Unless you want all third party world and his wives extracting your info.

I've been getting emails from companies etc. I had forgotten about!  Can't remember hearing from them for a long time, but there is something satisfying about saying "No thanks" :D  Trouble is, some you have to "click on" to stay in touch, and others you don't.

I've kept some and deleted the rest.  It's a good chance for a clear out.

I've stopped every single thing I possibly can, from every single company.
If I later find out I'm missing something, I can always go back to them ask to be made " active " again.
To be fair, I'd rather be given the option, than NOT given the option, which is basically what's been the case to date unless you trawl through endless terms and conditions.

I wonder if this means I'll stop getting all the plant catalogues? I've been trying to stop junk mail through the post, I've even put a sticker on the door asking the postman to kindly bugger off with his non-addressed flyers but it still keeps piling in.
