Did I give you a Salvia or Veronica?

It has self seeded Lyn, no idea what it is and it's just this plant, no others.

I have one like this I'm trying to ID. I'm thinking water figwort. But I'm waiting for flowers (it has buds) to confirm.

Thank you everyone, I do believe you've hit the nail on the head. I'm wondering how it got there, I've bought various wildflower seeds in the last few years but not Water Figwort. A pleasant surprise though, while its not actively wet where it's growing, it is damp  :)
