Please can you help and identify this plant which has appeared in a huge pot that we have on the patio.

    I do too but before I chop it's head off I'd like to know for sure!

    Looks like Ragwort to me, bit probably wrong.

    Thanks Berghill- you are right, it is ragwort. I'll be digging it out of the pot as soon as I can!

    Thank you Daisy- I was driving past the local Hospice shop and they'd had a donation of HUGE pots-it was such a bargain and I wish I had been able to fit more than one in my little car! My other half wasn't, as he had to get it out of the car and into the garden which was no mean feat!
