Lovely Hostas (for Hostafan!)

    I agree. It looks like my turks cap lillies. I think they get to about 6' but since this is the first year they've been uncovered from the undergrowth...we'll see.

    Oh I love hostas, fabulous pics! I don't have a scrap of even dappled shade yet, so I have to go without for the time being...harumph!

    Lots of hostas are perfectly happy  on a South facing slope like my garden with no shade whatsoever.

    OMG!!! I can’t believe it!!! I need names Hostafan1 please!!!! I have pretty awful chalky clay which I’m slowly improving. I am so excited!!!!!

    A big leaved green one would be fab and the yellow or white variegated would be fab!!

    Not a slug hole in sight. Does the bark keep them down, or do you have lots of frogs? I have a couple of poor specimens by the pond, but they don't get eaten, presumably because of the frogs, toads and newts.
