Are these weeds or plants?

I have inherited a new garden and quite new to gardening - not sure if the below are plants or weeds?

    My guesses..
    1. Annual Poppy
    2. Possibly lilac - a pic of the whole plant would help - see what others think
    3. Euphorbia (spurge) - either a plant or a weed depending on your view..
    4. Geranium
    5. same as 1.

    4 looks creeping buttercup or similar prolific weed ...if confirmed, get rid asap before it seeds or spreads.  If it's geranium enjoy😀n. Agree with poppy Id.

    Completely agree with Pete8. Pic 2 the leaves are just like lilac but I'm surprised it's not flowering right now... as Pete said, a photo of the whole plant with some idea of scale would be good. The geranium will be flowering in another month :)
