Tulips not blooming

Hi,

Can anybody tell me why my tulips failed to bloom? Is it because the container is too congested?

The tulips are in full sun and as you can see from the image; others have done well.

    Are they the ice cream tulips that should look like a full ice cream cone. ? I had some the other year and they did like yours, the bud got wet and then balled instead of opening properly.

    Yep bang on, they do look waterlogged. Another great purchase then :smile:
