    Me too.
Just put me on ignore like everyone else has  :#
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

The afternoon play on the radio, or anything by Enigma or Mendelsohn. Quite like a bit of Reggae too!
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.

I wear hearing aids but can still hear sort of ok without them.
It's so relaxing to take them out after a busy day. It's the auditory equivalent of walking out of searing sunlight into dappled shade - bliss!
The world's a noisy place and I'm not sure if, given the opportunity, I would want full hearing back.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

If I listened to music in the garden, I wouldn't be able to eavesdrop on the neighbours!

Hi, what songs do you listen to while gardening? Yes, there are millions of song choices but what keeps you entertained while gardening? Looking for some inspiration :-)
I have a neighbour who plays music fairly loud in their garden so for me I just have no choice but to listen to their style of music. Luckily for me it's actually not that bad. Mostly a mix of 70's and 80's though. I would rather listen to the bird song myself and enjoy the peace when I can.

I listen to Mellow Magic  on the radio until the neighbours turn their 'music'  on......then I turn my hearing aids off.

I found true silence once. It was in among sand dunes in Pembrokeshire. Silence so deep it almost had volume. I think the sand must absorb noise but it made me realise how noisy normal silence is.

Normally I like to be alone with my thoughts in the garden but I've been finding myself to be irritating company recently so I've switched to audio books. I've got David Attenborough's autobiography on the go at the moment.
You are right about sand absorbing sound, snow does an even better job of it. If you want to find that silence again get out in the woods well aways from traffic when its been snowing, so quiet its deafening

As in they hang out nearby.  In Sussex.  They've started to really get going with their singing.  Doesn't get much better than when they are are in full swing.  Then when they leave it's a very sad loss.

Having said that the majority of what I hear is loud traffic noise interspersed with the neighbours kids and power-tools.
