Could anyone tell me what plant I have please. Nothing I have planted, it is either a gift from a passing bird!!......or, as we have worked at the garden & removed a lot of weeds & over grown greenery, it could possibly just had a better chance this year. It seems to bloom at different levels daily. Thank you in advance

Do the flowers open into individual star shaped flowers? If so , I think it is a camassia. Not sure which one.

They do fidgetbones, As I said it appeared from nowhere, but now I have a name I can find more info & maybe buy some more as I think they are pretty, don't take much room up & would look lovely in a small clump as the space it has appeared is between a beautiful pink peony & some mature shrubs

Thanks fidgetbones & Papi Jo. It is as you both said a Camassia, looking on research, it is the Leichlinii group, and either a Blue Candle or Blue Heaven, they look very similar growing in same conditions etc. Either, one, very pretty and now knowing there are all different varieties, I just might have to invest 😊
